AmCham's Internship Program

In an effort to foster the inter cultural dialogue and learning between American students and Jordan, as well as attract talented undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students to Jordanian businesses, we would like to inform you about opportunities to host Georgia Tech interns at your organization. Quick information on how it works:

•       Your Company and AmCham will discuss your company’s recruiting needs. Your company can select any academic major at Georgia Tech (Consult list of majors at: http://www.gatech.edu/colleges/) and any academic level (Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD candidates).

·              Your Company and AmCham would decide on a timeframe, language requirements, set application and notification deadline (this happens after we discuss the types on internships we will be advertising: in terms of length, payments, regulations...etc).

·        Your company will create an employer profile and internship description on P2D2, Georgia Tech’s internship database  https://p2d2.gatech.edu/p2d2/

•        AmCham and Georgia Institute of Technology will advertise the program to its students and will be in charge of the application process

•        AmCham will send applications to the company

•        Your Company will conduct virtual interviews and share with AmCham the list of final candidates that have been chosen for an internship

•        Your Company through AmCham will send Georgia Institute of Technology and the student an offer letter

•        AmCham will assist the student in finding housing and the company will pay the student the cost of living in the host country
