The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) is an independent U.S. government agency that provides financing to U.S. companies making investments in developing countries, including Jordan, in a program that started in 2007. Dar Al-Mal Management Consulting Ltd. is the formal consultant for the International Executive Service Corps (IESC) which, in turn, acts as a Loan Originator for OPIC. In turn, OPIC provides Financing and Political Risk Insurance to Small and Medium size companies making investments in developing countries. These loans are up to $250 million, and provide financing of up to 65% for new ventures, and up to 75% for expansions. They can have a fixed rate for up to fifteen years, which takes advantage of the current low interest rates on the US Dollar. We combine our local expertise company analysis and valuation at Dar Al-Mal, with IESC to provide the best service possible for a successful OPIC loan application, including preparing business plans and financial projections.
